Print Job Descriptions

Newspaper team members are responsible for many different aspects of running a successful newspaper. Team members must:

• Write articles free of errors
• Write articles that are interesting to the general public
• Meet all deadlines and appointments
• Sell ads
• Edit the newspaper layout and do proof reading
• Handle money and accounts related to the newspaper sales and ads

Newspaper team members must also be self-directed, responsible, trustworthy, hardworking and work well with their other team members. Newspaper team members must be journalistically ethical.
