Breadboard

Introduction

A breadboard is a reusable way of quickly connecting parts together in order to test that our design and components all work before moving them to a more stable and permanent home like a circuit board.

You can make quick fixes to any mistakes on a breadboard.

Making Connections

Using a Breadboard

A breadboard makes connections across rows.

Anything plugged into the same row is connected.

For example, these two red wires are connected but the blue wires are not.

Again, all the red wires are connected because they are in the same horizonal row.

The blue wires are not connected because they aren't in the same row or are divided by the center gap.
